6. Music can comfort you when you’re feelingĀ upset.

5. Music doesn’t hate you if you listen to something different.

4. Music doesn’t make you do anything special.

3. Music never makes you feel guilty, and doesn’t care how you live your life.

2. Music never hurt anyone.

1. Music doesn’t demand that you love it over anything else.

I understand that this is more in jest then well thought through, so please indulge me…

10: ‘Rock n Roll will save your Soul’? Either the soul doesn’t exists, and if it does how will it save the soul?… Time after time, I will catch you?

9: When the nothing in the universe explodes it was not there, and it will not be there when the universe implodes again (it is an effect, not even a brute fact)

8:Music exists? Descartes and modern scepticism might not agree, it may be an illusion

7: Many people think much music is wrong, the Classical ear find Metal abhorrent. Styles are often blamed for school shootings.

6: Music can comfort, or help you escape?

5:True, music is an abstract noun so is not capable of conscious emotion, I’ll give you that one.

    4: It doesn’t? http://scholar.google.co.za/scholar?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&hs=paV&q=author:%22Capozzoli%22+intitle:%22Kids+Killing+Kids:+Managing+Violence+and+Gangs+in+Schools%22+&um=1&ie=UTF-8&oi=scholarr

3: Marylin Manson in his songs seems to care if people wanna fit in (beautiful people), try wearing a I love America Shirt to a Marylin Manson concert.

2: see point four… furthermore people have gone deaf, especially band members who do drums

1:True, cause music cant make demands

Please take this comment in the same vein that you wrote it, not being nasty, just linguistic banter

  2. Scaramouche Says:

Referring to your point 10: “If you fall, I will catch you, I will be waiting, time after time”. First off, that’s a) metaphorical and b) spoken by a character IN the song, not the music itself.

    otherwise, well played.
